Cincinnati Summer Beer Guide 2019

Summer-Beer-Guide-Intro

Cincinnati Beer continues to expand and evolve, and we are on the forefront of some of the major happenings, beer releases and trends across the community.

One of the advantages on our craft brewery tours is being in and out of locations all over our region every day to get a peek inside and find out what is going on in their individual marketplace, as well as identify trends across the region.

This Summer we reached out to our brewery partners to find out what they have going on and we are here to present our very first Summer Beer Guide.

I am excited to put this program together for you, I reached out to all of our brewery partners to see who wanted to showcase some things and the breweries below are the ones who responded (in case you were curious as to why some are omitted or left out).

One trend that continues to evolve in our market and beyond is the initiative toward a healthier lifestyle and the production of light lagers, ales and quite a few locations producing Hard Seltzer. I had a chance to talk with our local Beer Celebrity, Del Hall, about a beer they are doing at Fifty West which is made with electrolytes (see Fifty West section below). Running clubs, yoga, goat yoga, canoeing, biking, volleyball, boxing matches and more health inspired events span across the region as breweries continue to foster the idea of a healthy community in their respective towns and cities.

We have quite a few new breweries slated to open a taproom, or who have recently opened like HighGrain in Silverton, Cincy Brewing in Lockland, Deadlow in California, Northern Row in OTR, Happy 2 and a few locations that have a little bit more time like Big Ash in Anderson, Esoteric in Walnut Hills, and Cartridge Brewing in Maineville.

Here are some fun Summer Beer releases, events and things celebrating Cincinnati’s rich craft brewery culture.

Enjoy a fun filled Summer!
