Our Mission
Cincinnati, a city whose beer history remains unknown to most of its loyal patrons, was one our countries top beer producers from the mid 1800’s through prohibition. In fact, the beer industry accounted for almost 40% of our economy, producing nearly 1,000,000 barrels of beer per year at its peak. Cincinnati was the United States top producing wine city in 1859 with Nicholas Longworth’s “Sparkling Catawba.” We had one of the largest concentrations of Distilleries and Saloons in the world!
At Cincy Brew Bus, Cincy Wine Wagon, and Cincy Bourbon Bus we want to share these facts, and many more, with the finest people and the finest beverages we know…..beer, bourbon, and wine.
When my wife and I started the company we wanted to meld our passion for craft beer, wine, bourbon, local history and local businesses into one. We have grown that passion into a business that unites people from all walks of life. It is a dream come true for us to share this with so many people each and every week. We can’t wait to see you out and show you what Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky has to offer.
Cheers!
Mike Stokes, President and Founder
How It Works
- Pay for you and your group online or by calling us (513-258-7909, 844-Beer-Fun)
- Arrive for your tour (hopefully hydrated and fed) at the front lobby of the Hard Rock Casino. For Ohio Valley tour we meet at the Hard Rock Casino for the Urban Winery tour. For Bourbon we meet at New Riff Bellevue or Hard Rock. Private tours can request a different location.
- Check in, and load the bus
- Once on the bus, we narrate some fun Cincinnati facts and traditions
- Go into the breweries, where you will receive 16 ounces of beer at each location. Wine Wagon you get between 4-8 pours of wine at each location. Bourbon Bus Tasting is 2 Distillery tours and tastings and 2 Bourbon Bar tastings with $5.00 credits. Distillery Tour Only is 3 Distillery stops and tours with tastings.
- Repeat this process either 3 or 4 times depending on the tour you select
- Drop off at your pickup location
- Please use your best judgement and don’t drink and drive if you have been drinking UBER it or use our Hotel code we provide.

Yes, it is customary to tip your guide, the guides are heavily reliant on your gratuity so we certainly appreciate it if you feel like they did a good job for you and your group, we ask that you direct all tips toward the guide and then they will split accordingly with the driver. Think of them as your server at a restaurant only waaaaay cooler.

Yes, there is food on the tour at the different breweries, but it is not part of your tour price. We do provide a Soft Pretzel from Servatii (famous local baker) as part of your price for our brewery tours. We recommend you eat before AND plan to eat after, if you need food places, just ask us, most of us are Certified Tourism Ambassadors for the City of Cincinnati! If you are doing the Donut or BBQ tour the food is provided.

The tours you book are not a party bus in the traditional sense. We do have to monitor your alcohol consumption due to Ohio State laws so you can’t just get out of control and crazy while you book a tour. We do however offer our buses for “Party-Bus” services if you want to just take it out on your own and schedule your own stops etc.. The pricing is different for each option but we do offer either one.
-
We get this one ALL of the time and we truly love them all, that is why we hit the best ones in town, to let YOU decide! We offer a bunch of options on which breweries we go to, just ask us which ones because it is constantly changing.
-
1 person can book alone for our public tours, for our private tours we are looking for a minimum of 6 on the weekdays and a minimum of 8 on the weekends (you can have as little as you want on the bus, but you pay for 8 drinkers) and a maximum of 250 (if you have less just give us a call and we will do our best to find one).
-
If you let us know 4 days up to 48 hours notice on any public tour we will refund your ticket 48-24 hours we will allow you to move to another date. If you don’t let us know within 24 hours, the ticket is non-refundable. Private tour deposit is refundable three weeks in advance for the weekend and weekday reservations.
